Old Cabell Hall

Join the UVA University Singers along with members from the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra in welcoming world-renowned Latvian musical composer Eriks Esenvalds to Charlottesville to work with the University Singers. Selections from his repertoire, including Stars and Only in Sleep will be studied by the University Singers with Esenvalds and performed in the Spring Concert on Saturday, April 13 at 8:00pm in Old Cabell Hall.

The Charlottesville Symphony and the UVA University Singers join forces to present their annual Family Holiday Concerts on Saturday, December 2, at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 3 at 3:30pm. Michael Slon, director of UVA's premiere vocal ensemble and music director of the Oratorio Society of Virginia, will conduct the performances at Old Cabell Hall on the Grounds of the University of Virginia.

Through the years, these concerts have become an eagerly awaited holiday tradition.  This year’s program is brimming with festive favorites for concertgoers young and old.

St. Paul's Memorial Church

The UVA Chamber Singers under the direction of Michael Slon return to the stage for their fall concert on Friday, November 17th at 7:30pm at St. Paul's Church.  Featuring organist Deke Polifka, the concert celebrates the refurbished organ at St. Paul's.  Tickets will be available in advance at  https://artsboxoffice.virginia.edu/ | 434 924-3376, and UVA students can reserve a free ticket in advance.  The Singers look forward to sharing their music with you!
