Old Cabell Hall

The UVA University Singers present a concert of repertoire ranging from Whitacre and Mäntyjärvi to an arrangement of “Will the Circle be Unbroken,” folks songs, and other music to be featured on the Singers international tour in May 2025.  Singers alumni will be invited to join the chorus at the conclusion for the UVA Songs.

Old Cabell Hall

The UVA Chamber Singers under the direction of Michael Slon follow up on their Spring 2024 Campaign Songs Concert (presented w/ the Center for Politicis), with a concert featuring folk songs from around the world, including the beautiful “Early One Morning,” “My Love is like a Red, Red Rose,” a Chinese fisherman song, and American folk music.

The Charlottesville Symphony and the UVA University Singers join forces to present their annual Family Holiday Concerts on Saturday, December 7 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 8 at 3:30pm. Michael Slon, director of UVA's premiere vocal ensemble and music director of the Oratorio Society of Virginia, will conduct the performances at Old Cabell Hall on the Grounds of the University of Virginia.
